Number Nine: Sea Turtle

I used the same background for this piece as I did for the manatee, seal and shark. It was all from the background of a car advertisement in a glamor magazine. Apparently half a page in a magazine will cover the background for four blocks.
I also cover the sides of the block as well, not just the front. The backs are painted red.

Number Eight: Rhino

I usually like to use girly magazines like Marie Claire and Cosmo because they have colorful ads and photos, but this piece was made mostly from National Geographic clippings.

Number Six: Camel

Another funky background. The camel was made out of a picture of a desert, oddly enough.

This one has kind of a funky background.

The body of the shark was made from a picture of a sweater, and the eyes, gills and nose were made from a picture of a jacket.
